About Us
At Paws & Play, we provide overnight and extended in home pet care, offering a calm and loving alternative to traditional kennels and crowded boarding facilities. Because your dog stays in our home, the environment truly matters. Every detail of our space and daily routine is intentionally designed to support your dog’s comfort, safety, and emotional well being while you are away. We have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and ages, from playful puppies to senior dogs who need extra patience, structure, and gentle care. Each pup receives individualized attention and is welcomed as part of the family, never treated as just another booking on a schedule.
Our home is a single family, one story residence created specifically for in home dog boarding. It features a large fenced yard and a screened in pool patio, giving dogs plenty of room to move freely, enjoy fresh air, and relax in a secure setting. This setup is especially beneficial for small breeds, senior dogs, and pups who thrive in a quiet and stress free environment.

What truly sets Paws & Play apart is our commitment to personalized dog care. To ensure the highest level of attention, we typically limit in home boarding to one pup guest at a time. This allows us to maintain consistent routines, provide long walks, dedicated playtime, and plenty of affection, all tailored to your dog’s individual needs. Many clients choose us specifically for our one on one approach to overnight dog boarding.
For clients who prefer care in their own home, we also offer professional pet sitting services, along with concierge add on services such as litter box care and plant watering. This allows you to travel with complete peace of mind knowing both your pet and home are well cared for.
Community is an important part of our mission. Paws & Play proudly supports local animal welfare through volunteer dog walking with Tri County Animal Rescue. For 30 years, Tri County has been a 100% no-kill, 501(c)(3) nonprofit shelter that services Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties. A percentage of our revenue is donated to support their ongoing efforts to help animals in need. Paws & Play was founded by a lifelong dog lover and proud Yorkie mom of three. I have been a member of the The Gold Coast Yorkshire Terrier Club of South Florida since 2009 and previously served as a Board Member. This background brings years of hands-on experience, breed specific knowledge, and genuine care to every dog I welcome into my home.
